The Polana is on the ground level of the Harbour House complex and features a beautifully appointed cocktail lounge built on the rocks, only meters away from the crashing waves. Relax on luxurious leather sofas and sip a pre-dinner cocktail while soaking up sea views of unsurpassed beauty.
In winter the fire place crackles comfortably in the lounge as huge flocks of cormorants trek across the bay. From late July whales are sometimes seen from distances as little as fifty meters away, while playful seals frolic in the kelp all year round.
The Polana restaurant is to meat what Harbour House is to fish. Free range and pasture fed cuts of prime beef fillet, rump, sirloin and rib eye, beautifully and simply presented, vie for the carnivorous diner’s attention with hugely popular Hoisin and Ginger Pork Ribs, Catalan-Style Veal Ribs with Green Olives, Lamb Cutlets and succulent Gourmet Burgers.
The less bloodthirsty can enjoy a delicious selection of tapas dishes, singly or on platters. Fresh line fish, delicious Mozambican style prawns and oysters are also available.
Polana is a happening, vibrant venue, framed by a jaw dropping vista, where cocktails, live music and late nights are the norm. A superlative steak house by the sea, with truffles in the mushroom sauce and parties that rage till dawn.
